Our "Diversity Diaries" workshop bridges the awareness of unconscious bias with practical examples of how it can lead to discrimination in the workplace. Using real cases collected from testimonies and literature, this workshop is ideal for a mixed audience. Participants who have never encountered concepts of bias and discrimination will gain insights into how these issues can concretely manifest in the workplace, while those already aware will receive concrete frameworks to help reduce discrimination in their daily lives.

Just like all our workshops, this session is available online or in person. We recommend a 2-hour format to optimize the experience, but we are happy to customize the duration to meet your needs.

We have held this workshop at Aarhus University Faculty of Physics (October 2023) and Aarhus University Faculty of Natural Sciences (November 2025). It was also conducted for master's students in Quantum Science Technology as part of the Entrepreneurship and Innovation course at StartUB in Barcelona (June 2024), at the EQTC in Lisbon (November 2023) for the EU Partnerships (Quantum Flagship), and at the Hannover 2023 EQTC European Quantum Technologies Conference in August 2023.
