Structural Discrimination
Our "Structural Discrimination" workshop aims to provide a clear and accessible understanding of structural discrimination, which refers to the systemic policies and practices that disadvantage specific groups, particularly non-EU students and workers in the EU. These policies, combined with the structure of the workplace, naturally create power dynamics that can, in some cases, reduce the efficiency of certain workers and significantly impact the careers of talented individuals. By addressing these dynamics, we equip participants with the tools needed to recognize and mitigate these challenges, fostering a more equitable workplace.
Just like all our workshops, this session is available online or in person. We recommend a 2-hour format to optimize the experience, but we are happy to customize the duration to meet your needs.
This workshop has been held in Hannover during an event specifically designed to enhance the relationship between students and their supervisors in May 2024.
