Our "Bias Buster" workshop is designed to explore Unconscious Bias, a fundamental aspect of how we perceive the world and interact with others. It emphasizes the importance of understanding the automatic judgments we make about others—often unknowingly—and how these judgments influence our behaviors and decisions, perpetuating inequalities in the workplace. By utilizing theater as a tool, we foster empathy and provide concrete examples and solutions in an engaging, non-judgmental atmosphere, creating a safe space for participants to recognize and address their biases.

Just like all our workshops, this session is available online or in person. We recommend a 2-hour format to maximize the experience, but we are happy to customize the duration to fit your needs.

We have conducted this workshop with master's students in quantum physics at ICFO in Barcelona (March 2025), for university staff (April 2025), and online for quantum physics researchers in the EU Partnerships (DigiQ) during September and October 2024. Additionally, we held a live session for the EU Partnerships (Quantum Flagship) at the EQTC conference in Lisbon (November 2024).
