Pitcher of Quantum

Pitcher of Quantum is our brand-new event, offering students and researchers the opportunity to put their science communication training into action at festivals, cafés, and pubs!

At this event, quantum scientists turn complex scientific concepts into accessible, engaging stories. In just three minutes, each talk aims to spark curiosity, illustrate real-world implications, and leave the audience thinking, “I actually get this!”

This year, the event was part of Aarhus Festival, bringing quantum science to one of Scandinavia’s largest cultural festivals. It was also officially listed with UNESCO’s International Year of Quantum Science and Technology (IYQ) Events Calendar and co-funded by DigiQ, one of our EU projects, which we are part of.
